There are two meetings today (November 20th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Committee of the Whole will start the night off in the Council Chambers at 5:50 p.m.
They will start by introducing the elected officials and representatives from Kamogawa Japan before Mayor Justin Nickels Declares this month as the 30th anniversary of the two cities’ sister-city relationship.
Kamogawa Mayor Takao Hasegawa will also give some remarks before the meeting closes, and the full Common Council will gather at 6:30 p.m.
After Police Officer Andre St. Pierre is presented a Valor Award, the badges are pinned on two new police officers and a new Assistant Fire Chief, there will be several public hearings.
This includes three on the operation of transitional housing at addresses in the 1100 block of Marshal Street, the 400 block of North Lake Street, and the 800 block of South 19th Street.
The full agenda can be found on the City of Manitowoc website.
These are the only meetings this week in the Clipper City, while the County has no meetings planned.
