For some area girls basketball teams, today is the start of their game schedules.
Manitowoc Lincoln will be on the road taking on Milwaukee King to start their season, while Mishicot is at New Holstein.
Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lutheran will look to build off their big win over Kiel Tuesday as they travel to Winnebago Lutheran, while the Raiders play host to Kewaskum.
Elsewhere, Sheboygan South is at Port Washington, Ozaukee is invading Sheboygan Falls, while Sheboygan North is at Appleton East.
Also starting their season today is the Manitowoc United JV hockey team.
They will be in Waupaca at the Expo Center while in Varsity action, Sheboygan is at Kenosha
