white-tailed deer in fall field in rutt
A Wisconsin man is on the road to recovery after a deer crashed through his windshield.
While driving at approximately 75 miles per hour on I-43 last week, Robert Fleuchaus encountered the deer, resulting in the animal’s body splitting in half.
Thankfully, Fleuchaus escaped major injuries, though the deer’s head landed on the seat beside him.
Wisconsin State Patrol reports over 2,300 deer-related crashes in southeastern Wisconsin this year.
