A pair of Manitowoc residents were arrested Monday (November 13th) on drug distribution charges.
Numerous officers involved with a drug interdiction assignment were staking out a residence in the 700 block of Chicago Street when they saw a man and a woman leave the home and drive away.
An officer conducted a traffic stop on the duo, who denied ever being at the residence in question.
A search was conducted on the vehicle, and two containers of drugs were located under the spare tire in the trunk. In total, the duo was found to be in possession of nearly 11 grams of Fentanyl, and a large amount of drug paraphernalia.
The 32-year-old man then admitted that nearly 9 grams of the drug was pure, and the rest was cut with baby powder.
He was arrested on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I or II Narcotic, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Felony Bail Jumping, and is being issued tickets for Displaying a False Vehicle Registration, Failure to Display Vehicle License Plates, and Operative While Revoked, a citation he has received more than four times.
The woman is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I or II Narcotic as Party to the Crime.
