Today marks the beginning of the 2024/25 Girls High School Basketball season, and several local and area teams are slated for action.
In Manitowoc County, Valders is playing host to Sheboygan Lutheran while Manitowoc Lutheran will kick off their season in Kiel, in a game that will be aired on 107.9 FM WOMT and at WOMTRadio.com starting at 7:00 p.m.
Elsewhere, Sheboygan South will travel north to Denmark, New Holstein invades Plymouth, Cedar Grove/Belgium is at Sheboygan Falls, and Howards Grove playing host to St. Mary’s Springs.
To the north, West De Pere is at Pulaski, Ashwaubenon is hosting Seymour, and Menasha is at home against Winneconne.
Several other area teams will begin their seasons on Thursday, and the boys begin action next week.
