All schools in Plymouth were placed on a lockout Tuesday afternoon
The lockout was put in place after Plymouth police located a person armed with a knife near Parkview Elementary School in the city.
Once police learned the armed man left the area in a motor vehicle, they immediately advised all schools in Plymouth to perform a lockout.
Once the man was located about 40 minutes later, the schools were contacted and the lockout was lifted.
Plymouth Police say the man would be evaluated for a mental health episode as they forward a charge of “dangerous weapons other than firearms on school premises” to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
