Two teenagers from Florida are facing charges related to a series of thefts over the weekend in Eau Claire and Altoona.
Prosecutors have formally charged 18-year-old Demitrius Major and 17-year-old Kawan Robinson with breaking into at least a dozen cars, leading the police on a high-speed chase.
The black Range Rover they were in had been the subject of a search by Eau Claire Police over the weekend.
Authorities were also searching for a white minivan believed to be connected to the case but were unable to locate it.
A judge set Robinson’s bond at $25,000 and Major’s at $100,000.
