Five businesses in Eastern Wisconsin are being honored by Governor Tony Evers.
He recently announced the recipients of the 2023 Vets Ready Employer Awards, and the Oshkosh Corp was one of seven organizations to receive the gold certification in the Large Business category.
4imprint, also out of Oshkosh earned a Silver Certification in the same category.
In the Medium Business Category Kingsbury Inc., also out of Oshkosh, and Worthington Cylinders out of Chilton were granted a Silver Certification.
Earning Gold in the Small Business category was MMC Inc out of Appleton.
The award recognizes Wisconsin employers who have gone above and beyond in efforts to hire and support veterans and their families.
Governor Evers said in the news release announcing the winners, “I commend these Vets Ready employers for their work to hire and support veterans. This distinction will help elevate the work of these employers and give them the competitive edge in recruiting and retaining veterans.”
