Families in Sheboygan were asked to stay home last night, as the City of Sheboygan postponed their Halloween festivities.
In a post on the City Hall Facebook page, the City noted that due to the snow and slippery conditions, trick-or-treating has been moved to 4:00 to 7:00 tonight (November 1st).
City officials stated, “Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and the weather forecast poses potential risks. We understand the disappointment this may bring, but we want everyone to stay safe and dry during this Halloween season.”
They are the only community in the area to postpone trick-or-treating times, despite record-breaking snowfall in some areas.
