Two teens have been charged for their role in a June drive-by shooting.
According to the Green Bay Police Department 17-year-old Myles Schinke and 16-year-old Vance Degeneffe were officially charged with First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Driving or Operating a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, Knowingly Fleeing or Eluding an Officer, and Possession of a Firearm by an Adjudicated Delinquent, each as party to the crime, as well as Intentionally Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child.
Schinke and Degeneffe were both detained shortly after the incident, but investigators did not have enough evidence to charge them until last Wednesday.
The drive by on June 9th resulted in a home being hit by the rounds, and although no injuries were reported, a 45-year-old woman, a 38-year-old man, and an 11-year-old girl were all inside the residence.
The target of the shooting was allegedly a 17-year-old boy, who was not hit.
