The case of a Madison man who was apprehended for aiming a rifle at a police officer is currently under review by prosecutors.
The incident took place on the city’s northeast side during the evening hours of Thursday.
No one sustained injuries during the encounter, and the man was taken into custody and placed in the Dane County Jail.
The District Attorney’s office is assessing whether charges will be filed in connection with this incident.
