A fatal motorcycle collision on I-39, which took place on Saturday afternoon near Madison, has resulted in one fatality and another individual being hospitalized.
The State Patrol reports that the incident occurred near the southbound interstate’s exit ramp onto Highway 12.
Two motorcycle riders collided, causing both bikes to be forced off the roadway.
A 20-year-old Cottage Grove man lost his life, while the 21-year-old rider from Sun Prairie is anticipated to recover from their injuries.
