
Two Green Bay firefighters suffered minor injuries as they battled a blaze Wednesday morning.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department received a report of a fire at around 7:00 a.m. in the 2700 block of Nicolet Drive.
The caller reported seeing flames and smoke coming from the family residence.
The blaze was contained to the initial structure and had it under control within about 20 minutes.
During the battle, two firefighters suffered what were termed “minor strain/sprain injuries” and were treated at the scene.
No one was home at the time, so no cause has been reported.
The damage was reported to be about $60,000 worth.
