The Fox Cities Exhibition Center in Appleton is playing host to the Wisconsin Economic Summit this week.
This event, put on by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, brings together more than 400 community and business leaders, educators, and economic developers to share ideas and solutions for tackling workforce challenges and building an economy that works for all.
This year’s summit theme is “Together” focusing on the partnerships between government, industry, educators, and nonprofits to increase opportunity through innovation, sustainability, affordable housing, child care, entrepreneurship, and more.
Jeff Yabuki, chairman of Motive Partners and former CEO of Fiserv Inc. will serve as the summit’s keynote speaker.
The event begins this morning (October 23rd) at 10:00 a.m., and will open up again tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
