An anonymous $1 million donation helped create a Community Enhancement Fund for the village of Random Lake.
The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation Foundation says the fund will help support projects that enhance the livability of individual communities in Sheboygan County.
The funds aren’t used for business development but more for community development projects designed to create venues that will attract and retain residents.
Random Lake Village President Sam Felippo says through the donations, the village and its residents have a prime opportunity to create a unified vision for the community.
Through separate funds, the Sheboygan County EDC says they will be able to fund the implementation of a Master Plan for the Village of Random Lake.
A firm called GRAEF will provide the master plan and will give a final village plan presentation in May.
