Eau Claire is now home to Wisconsin’s most massive pumpkin, courtesy of Master Gardener Brian Mathiowetz.
Mathiowetz proudly introduced “Macie,” his enormous pumpkin, which tipped the scales at just over 2,400 pounds last weekend.
This remarkable feat has officially broken the record for the largest pumpkin in Wisconsin’s history.
Mathiowetz initiated his journey of cultivating colossal pumpkins approximately five years ago, with no intentions of halting this endeavor.
The previous record-holder weighed a significantly lighter 2,283 pounds.
