A Manitowoc woman with a long history of run-ins with the law has been sentenced on her latest drug-related crime.
48-year-old Jennifer C. Norrell was previously found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine and was ordered to spend 15 months on probation by Judge Jerilyn Dietz.
Twice, Norrell and 52-year-old Matthew K. Vertz were arrested after a search of a residence belonging to Vertz’s uncovered drugs.
The first arrest came in September of last year, and the second happened five months ago.
Norrell has a lengthy rap sheet dating back to 2012 when she was arrested on a charge of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
She has since been arrested on charges including Theft, Delivering THC, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and Prostitution on multiple occasions.
In 2018 she was arrested after agreeing to accept cash in exchange for sexual favors from an undercover cop.
As part of her probation, Norrell has been ordered to undergo treatment and counseling, submit to random urine screens, and maintain absolute sobriety.
