The Kaukauna Police Department is looking into the death of a woman who was found inside a home.
According to information released by the department, officers were called to a home in the 100 block of West 13th Street to perform a welfare check.
The responding officers entered the home, where they found a 45-year-old woman who had died.
A man was also in the home, and he began acting erratically, causing the officers to use their tasers on him.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No additional information was released as the investigation is in its early stages.
