The leaves are starting to fall, meaning city employees all over the area are starting their pickup operations.
In Sheboygan, the pickup will run through November 17th.
The Department of Public Works is asking residents to take leaves from their lawns into the street gutter for easy and fast pick up for their crews, however, they should be off of the curb a little way to allow water to flow into the gutter.
Additionally, the leaf piles should be in areas with no parked cars and should not have any branches or yard waste.
The leaf collection teams will take care of sections of the city throughout the week, generally moving south to north.
A map of the sections and which dates they will be taken care of can be found online at SheboyganWI.gov.
Leaf pick-up is also ongoing in the Cities of Manitowoc and Two Rivers, with more information available on each of their respective city websites.
