Lee H. Baryenbruch, age 90, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Lee was born on October 14, 1932 in Manitowoc to the late Clarence and Anna (Pleuss) Baryenbruch. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1950. Lee enlisted in the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge. On December 26, 1955, Lee married Marilyn Winter at First German Ev. Lutheran Church. He had worked for 44 years at Kaufman Manufacturing Company. Lee was an active member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church where he previously held many offices.
Survivors include Lee’s wife of 67 years, Marilyn; four children, Eric (Renee) Baryenbruch, Newton; Andy (Luanne) Baryenbruch, Newton; Julie Baryenbruch, Manitowoc; and Karl (Lisa) Baryenbruch, Newton; three grandchildren, Bryan (Heather) Baryenbruch, Dylan (Kayla) Baryenbruch, and Amanda Baryenbruch; four great grandchildren, Karson, Natalie, Kalvin, and Jocelyn; two brothers, Thomas (Ginger) Baryenbruch and Donald (Doloros) Baryenbruch; also other relatives and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Anna Baryenbruch.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Jacob Hoff will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 731. A luncheon for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The visitation will continue on Monday, October 16, 2023 at First German Ev.
