The man accused of carjacking a woman and her child in Grand Chute has been ordered to stand trial.
51-year-old Jay Scott was in Outagamie County Court on Wednesday where that ruling was issued by Judge Mark Schroeder.
Scott is facing charges of Carjacking while Possessing a Weapon, Kidnapping, Forceful Abduction, Armed Robbery, Theft of Movable Property, and Felony Bail Jumping for the incident from last Monday (October 2nd).
Scott is accused of forcing a woman and her child into their car at knifepoint and forcing the woman to make withdrawals from her account at an ATM.
The victims were able to escape at a red light, and a witness called 911.
Scott is being held on a $500,000 cash bond and is due for a plea hearing on November 6th.
