The man who had a standoff with Kaukauna police earlier this year has been convicted.
42-year-old Jeremy Dismuke was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety while charges of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer and Fleeing or Eluding an Officer as a Vehicle Operator have been dismissed but read into the record.
Dismuke had fled from police after they tried to conduct a traffic stop on April 6th.
The chase ended in the median of Highway CE near Fieldcrest Drive when law enforcement used a tire deflation device to render his vehicle inoperable, but Dismuke refused to exit his vehicle.
He had a felony warrant for his arrest, and kept police at the scene for seven hours before attempting to flee on foot.
He was then detained and booked into the Outagamie County Jail.
