Charles Lester Parworth, age 75, passed away September 29, 2023 after a six-week battle with Signet Ring Cancer.
Chuck was born at home in Two Rivers to the late Lester and Rose Parworth. He attended schools in Manitowoc and Two Rivers. On October 16, 2003 he married Kathryn Kurth Franz in Chrystal Falls, Michigan. Chuck Loved fall and Halloween. He also liked to hunt and fish. He treasured his two trips fishing in Canada. His prized possession was his 1969 red Corvette Stingray. Chuck was a hard worker all his life. He worked at Manitowoc Shipyards, drove semi, was a supervisor for 25 years for Mirro/Newell, and retired in 2010 from Tramontina.
He is survived by his wife: Katie, his son: Chad Parworth, his bonus children: Melissa (Brian) Hamachek, Greta (Jason) Neuenfeldt, Holly (Jamey) Dewane, and Dennis (Melissa) Franz; grandchildren: Justin (Kendall) Finlan, Janice (Kody) Kellner, Sam Hamachek, David, Grace, Nick, and Mason Neuenfeldt, Martin and Hayden Dewane, Alexandrea (Cody) Rucinski, Samantha (Dylan) Corbeil, Damienne Franz (significant other Derek Groene), Nathan Silbersack, Harley Parworth, and Hailee Parworth (significant other Jose Capetillo); great-grandchildren: Blake, Jameson, Lincoln, Karsen, Eastyn, Yvonna, and Patricio; two brothers: Don Parworth and Wayne (Nora) Parworth; two sisters: Judy (Tom) Johnson and Nancy (Don) Moser; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: William J. Kurth, Joe (Cathy) Kurth, Pete (Kathy) Kurth, Tina (Jack) Johanek, and Barb (Scott) Sonntag; and one aunt: Alvina Kalcik. Many cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Charles John Parworth, a sister-in-law: Priscilla Parworth, and a great-grandson: Dennis Eugene Franz.
Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Following the service, a reception will be held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, located on the southside property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
