There are three meetings on tap for today (October 4th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Board of Public Works will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m. where they will look over bids for a safety building window replacement project.
They will also look over change orders and pay estimates for various engineering and public works projects.
At the same time, the Rahr-West Art Museum Board of Directors will be meeting at the museum.
They will give the public time to voice input before going over their usual monthly reports.
Closing out the day will be the Public Infrastructure Committee which will take over the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
After giving the public time to comment, the group will discuss a request from the Manitowoc Public School District to hang banners on street poles in honor of the District’s 100th anniversary.
They will also discuss some driveway replacements deemed necessary due to the construction project on Division Street.
A resident voiced concern that the driveway entrances are too steep and appear to be more like a curb.
The resident also noted that cars are bottoming out on them.
