A man is facing charges in Grand Chute after he allegedly kidnapped a woman and her child at knifepoint.
Investigators say that at around 7:30 Monday evening a 31-year-old Neenah woman and her 4-year-old child were approached by a 51-year-old man as they were getting into their car in a parking lot in the 4300 block of West Wisconsin Avenue.
The woman claimed the man threatened her with a knife, took her keys, and then forced her to take money out of her bank account.
The victims were able to get out of the vehicle and contact police leading to the yet unidentified man’s arrest.
The duo was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is facing charges of Kidnapping, Robbery, Carjacking, and Felony Bail Jumping, and is currently in the Outagamie County Jail.
