Habitat for Humanity Lakeside is getting some financial help for their next home.
The Wells Fargo Foundation has awarded a $15,000 grant to the local organization to help them build a home in the Farnsworth neighborhood in Sheboygan.
The Hernandez family will be the beneficiaries of the home as they are dealing with the challenges of having a daughter named Demi who has muscular dystrophy.
This residence will have an attached garage, 36-inch doorways, and a space for Demi to undergo her physical and occupational therapy.
Wells Fargo is a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, as they have donated a total of $93,000 to the organization since 2018.
