Police in the Village of Luxemburg are looking for the vandal or vandals that dumped condiments on mailboxes and vehicles.
The Luxemburg Police Department was informed of the food-based vandalism on Sunday (October 1st).
An investigation has revealed that two teenage boys were driving around in a silver four-door car pouring syrup, nacho cheese, oil, and applesauce on seemingly random cars and mailboxes.
The teens were also reportedly driving without headlights and were honking the horn after committing the act sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m.
It’s also worth noting that last week was Luxemburg-Casco High School’s Homecoming celebration.
In a post on the Department’s Facebook page, Chief Chris Gulbrand stated, “Pranks are sometimes funny but antics like this are overboard, as they are entering private property when people are not home or sleeping.”
Anyone with any information on who may be responsible is encouraged to either message the Department on Facebook or email LPDCGulbrand@villageofluxemburgwi.gov.
