It will be a busy day in the City of Manitowoc as there are four meetings on the calendar.
First up is the Room Tax Commission, which will convene in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m. where they will get another update on the lawsuit with the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Common Council will hold a special meeting in the Council Chambers where the public will be given time to voice their input.
They will be reviewing a report regarding bids received for a fill project on the newly created River Point Drive.
After that is done, the Committee of the Whole will take over the chambers where they will discuss the former Lakeshore Mall property, which was recently blighted.
Specifically, the group will look over a letter of intent sent to the City from Tycore Built out of Green Bay which is looking to purchase the large plot of land.
Finally, closing out the day will be the Finance Committee, which will convene in the Chambers at 5:30 p.m. to discuss, among other items, a request from the Fire Department to purchase a new tower truck.
