There is only one meeting on the docket today (October 2nd) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Personnel Committee will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. where they will hear comments from the public.
Then, after receiving their usual monthly reports, the group will read two letters from firefighters regarding their residency.
They will also approve the recently revised police department drug and alcohol policy, which removed d language dictating actions of contracted labs and lab employees and changed language to remove the requirement for represented employees to be drug-tested after an officer-involved critical incident.
They will also enter a closed session to discuss a city attorney promotional offer of employment and to conduct police contract bargaining for 2024 through 2026.
