There is only one Manitowoc County governmental meeting scheduled for today (October 2nd).
The Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Steering Committee will be gathering in the Communications and Technology Building at 1:30 p.m. where they will give the public time to comment.
Then, they will get an overview of the planning process and plan content before reviewing the project schedule and the expectations of the steering committee.
The group will also review the project goals, hazard risks and ratings, critical facilities categories, and mitigation strategies before discussing the next steps in the process.
