On Thursday morning in West Allis, a man wielding a knife met a fatal end in a police shooting incident.
According to West Allis police, officers were dispatched in response to a family disturbance call shortly after 6:30 AM, where they encountered a man in his mid-30s.
During an on-site briefing, West Allis Police Chief Patrick Mitchell disclosed that four officers discharged their weapons, resulting in the man’s death at the scene.
Fortunately, there were no injuries to anyone else during this incident. However, due to the unfolding events, the nearby Milwaukee Area Technical College West Allis campus was briefly placed on lockdown.
The identities of the four officers involved in the shooting were not provided in the given information.
