A Fond du Lac man was taken into custody yesterday (September 26th) after he was found with child porn.
Officers responded to a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which led them to 28-year-old Allen Moreau.
When asked about what was on his phone, Moreau reportedly said that he had some “stuff” on there that he did not ask for and that were of people that were “probably” too young.
A search of his device uncovered 30 files containing child pornography with charges being filed in regard to 10 videos and photos containing prepubescent girls as young as 4.
Moreau is facing ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography, each of which carries a sentence of up to 25 years in prison and/or a $100,000 fine.
He is due back in court on October 2nd for a preliminary hearing.
