The summer in Milwaukee concluded with a significant achievement as the Milwaukee Police and U.S. Marshals successfully apprehended over 250 violent criminals within the city.
The culmination of these efforts was recently announced by the Milwaukee Police, marking the results of Operation North Star 3, a pivotal component of the nationwide initiative to apprehend wanted fugitives.
Law enforcement investigators have reported that the summer’s arrests resulted in the closure of 417 warrants, including 37 related to murder, 75 for assault, and 26 for weapons offenses.
Furthermore, this operation played a crucial role in removing more than 100 firearms from the streets of Milwaukee, accounting for nearly one-fifth of the total firearms seized nationwide as part of Operation North Star 3.
