A Green Bay man is facing charges after he allegedly attacked his brother in an attempt to kill him.
According to police reports, officers were sent to a home on St. Agnes Drive Wednesday morning to investigate a report of a stabbing.
The mother of the two men told police that Matthew Dorner and his brother began arguing while watching TV and it escalated to the point that Dorner went to the kitchen, and grabbed a knife.
During the scuffle, the mother was pushed to the ground and sustained injuries as well.
The victim told police he was struck in the head, but when he saw his brother with a knife, he went outside where he met with police.
Dorner has been charged with Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide with Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Disorderly Conduct, each with domestic violence enhancers.
His bond was set at $100,000 cash and he is due back in court next Wednesday.
