That a 10-year-old girl took part in Madison’s Naked Bike Ride became part of the Congressional inquiry into the Attorney General yesterday.
Congressman Tom Tiffany questioned Attorney General Merrick Garland about why he had not received a response to a letter he had sent about the girl who had been seen during the Naked Bike Ride in June.
Tiffany wants the bike ride’s organizers and possibly the girl’s parents to pay fines. Garland stated that local law enforcement should probably be asked the question.
Authorities in Madison declined to file charges because they believed the young girl’s naturism and the photos that were taken of her riding her bike in her underwear were not pornographic.
