The City of Manitowoc has announced trick-or-treat times for the upcoming Halloween celebration.
Families and children dressed in their best costumes can be out and about collecting candy on Halloween day between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Children are encouraged to always travel with an adult, to only visit well-lit homes, and to never enter a stranger’s home.
Parents are also encouraged to bring a flashlight with them on the trick-or-treat runs and to make sure their child sorts their candy before it is eaten.
Those who want to give out candy should leave a porch light on during the allotted times.
