A Green Bay meat processor has issued a recall of some of its ground beef products.
According to the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the USDA, American Foods Group, LLC, doing business as Green Bay Dressed Beef, LCC, is recalling approximately 58,000 pounds of ground beef that may be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli.
The only packages affected were the 10-pound plastic tubes which read Beef Fine Ground 91/19, Beef Halal Fine Ground 73-27, and Beef Fine Ground 73/27.
The products subject to recall also bear the establishment number “EST. 18076” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
As of this morning, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
If you have purchased any of these three products, you are encouraged to return them or throw them away.
