Four individuals sustained injuries in the aftermath of a violent incident involving both a stabbing and a shooting on Madison’s west side.
Law enforcement officials report that on Sunday night, they received numerous 911 calls regarding a large altercation in the 2100 block of Adderbury Circle, during which a gunshot was discharged.
Preliminary investigations indicate that amidst the brawl, a man brandished a knife and was subsequently shot by one of the three individuals he had stabbed.
All four individuals involved were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
The man who was shot remains in critical condition, while the other three are expected to recover.
Authorities are actively conducting an investigation into the incident.
