Anyone interested in becoming a foster parent is invited to learn more about the process this week.
Manitowoc County Foster Care is hosting an informational session on Thursday (September 21st) at the County Office Complex, located at 4319 Expo Drive.
Representatives will be on hand to answer questions, with some of the most common questions being “What’s expected of me, my home, and my family?”, “What can I expect for financial support for the child(ren) in my care?”, and “Can I work out of the home full time and foster children?”
The one-hour program will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Room 300 in the Office Complex. Additional informational sessions will be held on October 26th at the Human Services Department and on November 16th at Jenn’s Java.
To learn more about the sessions, visit ManitowocCountyWI.gov/FosterCare, or give them a call at 920-683-4320.
