Law enforcement is currently in pursuit of an inmate who managed to escape from the Kenosha Correctional Center last Friday.
The fugitive in question is 45-year-old Abram Jefferson, who was serving a three-year sentence for a domestic violence conviction.
Jefferson’s criminal history includes prior convictions, notably a firearm-related charge in 2002 that led to a lengthy prison term of nearly 12 years.
Authorities suspect that Jefferson may have made his way to Milwaukee, as he is known to have multiple connections and affiliations within the city.
Police are actively seeking information and assistance from the public to locate and apprehend him.
