Supporters and opponents of abortion rights are gearing up for the resumption of abortion services at Planned Parenthood facilities in Madison and Milwaukee today.
This comes following a ruling by a Dane County judge, stating that an 1849 state law, which had previously prohibited abortions, does not apply to voluntarily chosen abortions.
In light of this development, the pro-choice organization MARRCH in Madison is organizing a rally at the Wisconsin Capitol this evening to celebrate improved access to abortion services.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin Right To Life has reaffirmed its commitment to assisting women who wish to continue their pregnancies to full term by providing them with the necessary resources.
