Madison law enforcement officials report that a woman, impaired by alcohol, found herself in a precarious situation this week when her minivan became stuck on the railroad tracks.
The incident occurred late Tuesday night in the vicinity of East Johnson Street and Fordem Avenue when the minivan veered off the road and ended up stranded on the railway.
According to police, the woman’s blood-alcohol content was recorded at nearly double the legal limit, leading to charges of Operating While Intoxicated (OWI).
