Stoughton law enforcement authorities report that a 21-year-old woman engaged in an altercation where she allegedly damaged a squad car’s windshield wiper and attempted to assault officers while they were taking her into custody.
The incident was initiated when a concerned citizen alerted the police about the woman’s actions, which included striking the windows of a bar located in the vicinity of South Madison Street after being instructed to leave the establishment.
Upon responding to the call, officers encountered the woman, who reportedly took refuge inside a parked squad car.
During this confrontation, the windshield sustained damage, with the windshield wiper being forcibly removed.
Furthermore, the woman is now facing allegations of attempting to spit on and bite officers while they were in the process of detaining her.
