Paul F. Meissner, age 84 of Shoto, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, September 2, 2023.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; two daughters & sons-in-law: Nancy and Rick Kapellen of Sheboygan, Lynn and Ron Komoroski of Two Rivers; and two beautiful granddaughters who meant the world to him: Christina Komoroski of Milwaukee (special friend, Ben Braun) and Amanda Komoroski of Las Vegas (special friend, Caleb Lawrence). He is further survived by one sister, Donna Petska of Shoto; and two brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Eugene (Martha) Herman and Rick (Pat) Herman; along with many nieces, nephews, and great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Viola Meissner, Sr.; five brothers and three sisters: Vernon (Bonnie) Meissner, Kenneth (Elaine) Meissner, Eunice (Edward) Braun, Roland (Grace) Meissner, Jr., Ione (Tony) Kornely, Glen (Margaret) Meissner, Daniel (Rosie) Meissner, Shirley (Chuck) Holly; and a brother-in-law, Roy Petska.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. DaveĀ Pleier, with entombment later afternoon for the immediate family at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Thursday from 9:00 until 11:15 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
