The Manitowoc Public School District’s Board of Education is slated to hold its first meeting since school started.
They will be in the Board Room in the District Office on Lindbergh Drive at 6:00 p.m. where the public will be given time to voice their input.
Then, after going over their usual reports, the Board will conduct the first read of four policy revisions which address the eligibility of resident and non-resident students, the open enrollment program, part-time open enrollment, and full time students.
They will also review newly introduced policy revisions related to services for bilingual students and English learners, programs for students with disabilities, Title 1 services, and the use of seclusion and physical restraint with students.
They will also begin their 2023-2024 preliminary budget talks and fundraising for the Lincoln High tower.
