An overnight fire in a Sheboygan residence has left three people without a home.
According to Sheboygan Fire Captain Brent Adamson, crews were sent to a home in the 1600 block of South 12th Street just after midnight.
A total of eleven units arrived on the scene to find smoke coming from the basement of the home.
All of the residents were outside so crews were able to quickly attack the flames and bring the blaze under control.
While the cause of the fire is not yet known, we do know it caused an estimated $10,000 in damage and left the residence unlivable.
The Sheboygan Fire Department is also reminding residents to make sure their smoke detectors are working at all times to help ensure a quick response to any fires.
