A 44-year-old man was arrested Tuesday (September 5th) following a physical altercation with a Manitowoc Taco Bell employee.
The Manitowoc Police Department sent an officer to the restaurant on Harbor Town Lane at around 3:30 p.m. to investigate the report.
Workers told the responding officer that a teenage worker was at the drive-thru window taking orders, and the suspect was at the front counter making noises.
When the manager asked the man to stop he became upset and pushed the teenager into the driver-thru window.
The teen grabbed the man’s shirt and told him to back up, leading to punches being thrown.
The incident spilled into the lobby, before settling down, so the worker went to take a break.
At that point, the suspect attacked the teen again, wrapping his hands around the victim’s neck and slamming them into the rear of the lobby area.
Punches were thrown once again before the two were separated.
He then left the scene warning that he was going to be back.
The man did indeed return and was arrested on charges of Physical Abuse of a Child, Strangulation or Suffocation, Disorderly Conduct, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
