The Chairman of the Finance Committee for the City of Manitowoc is asking interested individuals to submit applications to hold a seat on the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission.
Alderman Jim Brey says in his announcement of the open seat that the term would last 5 years starting on October 1st.
Applicants should be a resident of the City of Manitowoc in order to be eligible.
In a statement, Brey explained that People who are interested in serving should submit a letter of interest and a short resume to the Manitowoc City Clerk’s Office in City Hall.
Letters will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 28th.
The committee will meet on October 3rd to make a recommendation to the entire Common Council which will meet on October 16th.
