The FBI has released updated and aged photographs of the suspect involved in the 1970 bombing at UW-Madison.
During a press conference held yesterday, the FBI presented images depicting their approximation of how Leo Frederick Burt might appear today.
Burt stands as the sole individual among the four suspects linked to the Sterling Hall bombing who managed to elude apprehension.
This tragic bombing, which was carried out as part of a Vietnam War protest, resulted in the loss of one life and inflicted injuries on four others.
For more than five decades, Burt has managed to remain on the run, and a reward of $150,000 still stands for information leading to his capture.
Burt’s known affiliations extend to regions including Wisconsin, New York, Boston, and Ontario, Canada.
