According to Milwaukee Police, indications point to the operator of a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) shuttle bus experiencing a medical crisis prior to the bus overturning in the early hours of yesterday.
The UWM B.O.S.S. shuttle incident occurred around midnight in the vicinity of Locust and Oakland.
The bus ultimately came to rest on its side.
At the time of the incident, the driver was the sole occupant on the shuttle and sustained minor injuries, for which treatment was administered.
The precise nature of the driver’s medical emergency has not been disclosed by the police.
